SUSTAINABILITY ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE

PT PERTA-SAMTAN GAS – SOUTH SUMATERA NGL PLANT

PT Perta-Samtan Gas (PSGAS) is a company engaged in the processing and refining of natural gas into LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) & Condensate products, especially in the Southern Sumatra area, always prioritizes operational excellence towards achieving a green company by implementing sustainably Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in the company’s operations. 

Therefore, the company is committed to promoting, maintaining and increasing efforts in environmental management sustainably and consistently which in line with Pertamina’s corporate HSSE policy, Pertamina Gas, PGN-SHG  by NIL cases in environmental aspects by according to the corporate value AKHLAK ​​to support the business in achieving the goals, vision and mission of the Company by:   

1. 1. Committing to produce & utilized support material with environmentally friendly products;
   2. Assigning Environmental Manager as the Person in Charge for the Environmental Management System and carrying out a life cycle assessment (LCA) in the company;
   3. Implementing the newest of regulations as an effort to comply with regulations and measuring compliance in controlling water pollution, controlling air pollution and managing hazardous toxic materials (B3) and B3 waste, biodiversity and other environmental issues;
   4. Defining environmental goal and objective, a strategic plan (long term), follow up, documentation of environmental aspects and impacts as well as updating in which the Stakeholders of the Company can provide input as a basis to consider the Company’s target achievement;
   5. Carry out environmental protection efforts through the use of sustainable resources, energy conservation to achieve efficiency, management of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, and protection of biodiversity;
   6. Incorporating PROPER findings as one of the determinants of the managed environmental aspects;
   7. Conducting an environmental impact assessment for the entire product life cycle (life cycle assessment) starting from the procurement of raw materials until consumer use;
   8. Following up activities that have a significant impact on the environment (hotspot) to reduce those impacts;
   9. Providing adequate resources to achieve the goals and objectives of this policy;
   10. Making continuous improvement efforts through the application of clean technology (cleaner production) in improving environmental performance to meet national and international standards;

This policy is documented, apllied, maintained, reviewed periodically, communicated to those who are working for the company, and is available for stakeholder necessary interests.
